The Sarah Chudnow Community is hosting several musical performances for the month of April, including the Children's Choir from Congregation Emanu-El on April 1 at 11 a.m.; Jonathan Brodie on April 15 at 2 p.m.; the band Festival European on April 22 at 2 p.m.; and The Youth String Ensemble on April 29 at 2 p.m. All performances are free of charge and open to the public.
“We are pleased to offer such a wide variety of musical performances at the Sarah Chudnow Community this month, from accordion to violin,” said Community Administrator, Paul J. Schultz.
The Children’s Choir from Congregation Emanu-El from Waukesha will be performing April 11 at 11 a.m.
Jonathan Brodie, a locally-acclaimed Baroque viola and violinist will be performing the violin on April 15 at 2 p.m. Brodie taught music at Whitefish Bay Public Schools for 21 years, and in 2009, was named "Music Teacher of the Year" by the Milwaukee Civic Music Association.
The Festival European band, performing April 22 at 2 p.m., will play a combination of accordion and guitar in an Eastern European style. The Youth String Ensemble will perform April 29 at 2 p.m.
